A Message from our Chairman
Chairman -Clwyd Roberts

Thank you for visiting and welcome to our website

Whether a longstanding member or new to Knockholt Horticultural Society welcome to our 2018 schedule of trips, events, activities and news.  Our activities are listed on our diary page so please look regularly for updates and further details.
We would love for you to become involved with the Society and to give a flavour of what we do here is a brief summary of 2017.
Our annual May trip ‘out of the village’ took us to Sussex where we visited the house and gardens at both The Old Vicarage Washington and St Mary’s Bramber which as always provided inspiration for our own garden plans. I am delighted to say that the tradition of serving bacon rolls and prosecco courtesy of the Committee on the coach as we leave the village is now firmly established
June saw our biannual open gardens event in the village with 10 gardens opening attracting 420 visitors and raising £4500 for Hospice in the Weald. The Hospice were extremely grateful for the money raised and may I add my grateful thanks to all who participated.
Both shows in June and September were very well attended with a few new members ‘having a go’ and walking away with the top prizes…congratulations to all winners and entrants for participating in the spirit of friendly competition in both shows and our final event, the November quiz where proceeds were donated to Children in Need.
If you would like any further information contact any of the committee or send us an e mail via the contacts page….we would love to hear from you.
